Looking for Quick Leet Armor
Looking for ways to get Leet Armor for my low level characters. By not actually doing missions to get to the location obviously. I have gotten Proph 15K armor by getting runs and Factions Luxon Armor as well by getting runs. Please share if you have any other methods to obtain NF and other Leet armor.
Thx. btw finished the the three campaigns just trying to get cool armor for my Ascalon, Sunspear, and Shiverpeak arena eligible chars. Low Level req. Thx for the replies. +++++++++CLOSE THREAD++++++++++ Last edited by esthetic; May 19, 2008 at 06:48 PM // 18:48.. |

try playing the game for a change, you may learn something about how guild wars is supposed to work.
otherwise, continue paying other people to do it for you, that usually works.... |

You could've used the old GH trick or the old Jujundu run trick.

There's no other way than to play through the game. You can run places in Prophecies, but that's it.
There answers are constructive... |

I have gotton Luxon Armor at level 5. I have seen NF armor beyond the Consulate Docks on Level 5 chars. Just asking how the second is done. Come to think of It I have seen FoW armor on a level 9 in the Ascalon Arena. Dont quite know how that is done either.
Like I have said in the question. My main chars have finished all the campaigns without runs ect. I make new chars to pvp in the low level arenas when they level out i delete and remake them. Need to be under level 15. Since I have been doing this for so long over two years and about 40 different characters. I want to try something different like getting different armor for my chars. That is it. I am not asking how to cheat.... Last edited by esthetic; May 19, 2008 at 03:30 PM // 15:30.. |

Other than getting someone to run you through all the missions or cheating/hacking.
It's usually not a good idea to insult the people you've just asked for help. Just so you know. |

FoW on a low level is easy, it just involves paying people to do it for you again.
but seriously...i dont really see the point in paying other people to do everything for you. the whole idea behind guild wars is that you have to work for the rarer stuff in the game. (sure the grind can be a little excessive for FoW armor, but for the 15k armors all it takes is a few hours of playing missions). |

the only "leet"-armor an elonian character could get (without getting level 20) would be elite sunspear... I don't think you could get any further than that before turning level 20...

Possibly Elite NF armor was obtained before they fixed the guild hall jump bug. That is, for a time it was possible to join a party in the guild hall and then warp to an advanced location... this has been fixed, though you still occasionally see a lvl 1 char in DoA because of it. As for FoW armor on a lvl 9... my guess is that the person in question unlocked it using balth faction, but I suppose its theoreitically possible to ascend in one of the campaigns by lvl 9... in fact it would probably be fairly easy to do in Factions or even Prophs with a lot of help. For Prophs you would have to find a way to beat the doppleganger which would be tough.
I have to say though... I find the idea of more advanced players taking advantage of the newbies in the early arena to be kind of pathetic. With this sort of behavior, its no wonder so many ppl, especially newbies, stay away from PvP. Why not just go play RA and stay out of the kiddie pool? |

I think that now the only way to get Elite armours in Nightfall without actually doing anything, is to pay for runs through the missions and quests.

There is a gw subculture of good pvpers in the low level arenas. Most of it is playing against each other. There is a certain apeal in the low level arenas that you have to level out at one point and you need to remake them from the begining, the armor, the weps the runes the skills.
No elite skills, low health, the small number of ppl playing makes it more fun IMO. Different ppl have different taste i guess. |

If you want to play against your low level friends scrimmage, don't ruin the game for other new players. And at least go in with less-than-max armor. The whole point is that everyone there is on the same level with 30AL and newbie equipment. Going in with your "leet" bs is completely defeating the purpose of Ascalon Arena. I bet you even synch. And everyone else most likely got their elite armor through the exploit awhile back. Gg on being totally rude. |

Your question has been answered to the best of our ability. Get someone to run you through the missions. Anyone else that has whatever armor on a low level got it through some means that we can't suggest to you, since it's more than likely illegal. Except for FoW.

moral of the story being that you now mre than likely have to play the game to get your "leet" armor, how horrible for you...

IDK what is causin this hostility to the question. You guys seem to have got up on the wrong (pissy) side of the bed today.
What about that i ask is illegal? Wrong? Unethical? So is a Droks run illegal? Why not make certain arenas only acessable for ppl with lower armor then? Why you guys so sensitive. |

You got your answer. Pay for runs. Some spots are not able to be run, at least not for someone staying below level 10. People like you is why people who are new, and try PvP for the first time in Ascalon Arena decide PvP sucks. Having a level 10 character with max AL armor, max damage weapons, and tomes providing skills from end game and other games (Factions, NF, GW:EN) means you have an advantage over people who are new. How easy will it be for you to kill someone with AL 30 or less armor, starter skills + skills available in Ascalon City, and an Axe that does 5-19 damage with a req 5?
Pay for runs, or use the armor available in early areas (Consulate Docks, Kaineng Center). |
